In the name of God, the All Gracious, the All Merciful

 

 

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

                                                  الْقَارِعَةُ

The Crusher.

                                                 مَا الْقَارِعَةُ

What is the Crusher?

 

6158 3415 496 444 1690 3

                                   وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ

And do you know what the Crusher is?

 

6159 3416 497 445 4

                     يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ

That is the day when people will be like scattered moths.

                        وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنْفُوشِ

And the mountains will be like fluffy wool.

                                   فَأَمَّا مَنْ ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ

Then as for the one whose weights are heavy,-

                                    فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَاضِيَةٍ

-he will then have a pleasing life.

                                  وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ

As for the one whose weights are light,-

 

6164 3421 502 450 9

 

                                                         فَأُمُّهُ هَاوِيَةٌ

-he will then have the abode of Hell.

 

6165 3422 503 451 10

 

                                                  وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ

And do you know what Hell is?

 

6166 3423 504 452 1693 11

 

                                                             نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ

An intolerable Fire.
